What is a PIN code?
A PIN code are four digits that every user and hiring manager need to know in order to see a candidate’s card without the need to log into the app.
The PIN code is additional protection in case one of the users of the account or hiring managers accidentally share the link to a candidate’s card to entities that do not belong to your organisation.
Everyone in an organisation uses the same PIN code. You will be asked to enter it every time you want to open a candidate’s card.
Where can I find my current PIN code?
Every company receives their own, automatically and randomly generated, PIN code. A PIN code can be seen by any user who has an account on inhire, and changed only by the administrator of an inhire account.
- Once you have logged in as an administrator, go to the account setting and click on “Hiring Managers” section.
- In the upper corner of the screen you will see your encrypted PIN code. In order to see/reveal it, click the eye icon.
- In order to change the PIN code, enter a new string of digits and confirm the change by clicking “Change”.
- From now on, all your users and hiring managers must use the new PIN code, so remember to inform them of any changes.
